Whistle Steam Cleaners was established in 1974 and provides an, on-site, carpet and upholstery cleaning service to the Helderberg Basin as well as Stellenbosch and Grabouw. We also provide a walk in service at our factory, on the corner of Sergeant and Victoria streets, Somerset West, where clients can bring their loose rugs, carpets as well as furniture to be cleaned. The collection and delivery of rugs and furniture are also provided.
Over the years, we have developed a system that has proved very successful for the cleaning of Persian, Chinese, and Dhurrie as well as Kelim rugs, in fact, any number of Exotic or Oriental rugs. Our clients, including from outside the Helderberg Basin, as well as some of the local Persian carpet suppliers, are using our services.
Our on-site cleaning teams are trained to deal with most cleaning problems, including the lifting of wet carpets, due to flooding or burst geysers, and the like. We have also been approved by some of the short term insurers, who now appoint us to provide this service.
Without our dedicated staff, we would just be another carpet cleaner. Our 10 permanent staff members, who collectively have 56 years experience between them, assist us in providing a quality product to our customer.
